Founder & President
Marc Benvenuto is the founder of Knot 10 Yacht Sales. His goal is to take the brokerage world to the next level of customer service for both buyers and sellers. Marc’s experience in high end capitol sales, along with years of boating with his family allowed him to develop a model that was clearly different from what traditional brokerage offered.

Prior to starting Knot 10, Marc owned and operated multiple companies throughout the healthcare industry. Rarely acknowledging his numerous sales achievements, he is quick to point out that his success has been driven by his attentiveness to his customer’s needs.

Marc enjoys spending time with his family doing, what else? Boating!

General Manager
As GM, Gary is responsible for leading both the growth and daily operations of Knot 10. He has created and oversees a team of professionals with individual specialties to ensure extraordinary service to our clients.

Prior to joining Knot 10, Gary proved himself to be a successful industry leader. He played a key role in the growth and management of several marine dealerships and was recognized as a top Cruisers Yachts salesperson for many years. He has built strong relationships and knowledge regarding the marine finance side of the business.

When Gary is not involved in the serious side of the business he spends time on the water with his wife Bo. Gary also has a passion for vintage cars.

Judy Benvenuto and her husband, Marc, founded Knot 10 in 2008. Today, she is responsible for building and maintaining solid relationships with existing clients, attracting new clients, and ensuring that Knot 10 remains a company built around exceptional service.

Judy’s marketing experience and strong organizational skills allow her to juggle the needs of a growing company with the needs of her family. An epicure, her favorite enjoyment is testing out new recipes with her family. Judy remains a committed volunteer to many worthwhile organizations.

With many years of experience within the Marine and Real Estate settlement industry Rita plays a vital role at Knot 10. Her excellent communication skills and love of working in a fast-paced environment allow her to multi-task and clearly communicate with all parties. She is the front line, making sure closings and settlements are up to expectations.

Her dedication and drive have brought a fresh perspective and a proven work ethic to the team. When not working, Rita enjoys spending time on the shore with her husband Mike. She can also be spotted “over the bridge” spending time with numerous nieces and nephews.

With an impressive resume of international sales and management in the corporate world Mark brings his customers a unique level of commitment and vision. Mark is fluent in German, Danish, Czech and Arabic having lived and worked internationally for 20 years in Dubai UAE, Riyadh Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Prague, and Germany. His time internationally has given him a broad perspective of the world and how to build relationships to bridge an understanding of all nationalities, cultures and backgrounds, and knows how to listen to his customers along with a good intuition in matching his customer’s vision to the right boat for them. Licensed in Florida, he has experience with a variety of large yachts and has been involved in marketing several large boat builds. Mark resides in Northern Virginia and covers Northern VA, Washington DC, as well as the Maryland market. He is an avid sports enthusiast and has a love for the outdoors.

Al is one of the newest additions to Knot 10’s growing sales team. With greater than 30 years experience in yacht brokerage, there is not a boat line unfamiliar to Al. His unchallenged reputation for honesty and integrity has turned numerous clients into friends throughout the years. These friends frequently comment on how smooth their transactions occur and the comfort that they feel knowing that their best interests always come first.

There is one additional friend who always comes first – Al’s wife Jill, of more than two happy decades!

After serving in the United States Air Force, Dominic began a fifteen year career in the automotive industry. This background provides him with not only a thorough command of the sales process but, a full knowledge of mechanical service and financing.

Considering Dominic’s numerous watercraft transactions, it makes perfect sense that when it was time for him to make a career move he aligned himself with Knot 10 Yacht Sales. Having experienced the good, the bad and the ugly of the industry, Dominic knows that Knot 10 is the one broker that truly gets the job done right and with integrity. He currently resides in Middle River with his wife Lisa. When you meet him at Knot 10’s newest Baltimore location you will find Dominic’s passion for boats infectious.

Calling on a very successful background of selling new Cruisers Yachts, Ed brings Knot 10 customers a broad base of boating knowledge. His passion for the business shines through in his courteous and helpful demeanor. His ability to step up and help beyond just selling a boat has led to customer loyalty that many never achieve.

In his spare time Ed can be spotted in the stands at The Comcast Center watching Maryland Basketball. He also stays active playing on numerous local sports teams.

Knot 10 is lucky to have Vic after his years spent selling Sea Ray. If you need product knowledge regarding the most popular boat brand, then Vic is your man. Using a work ethic that never slows down, Vic will never make the mistake of not working hard enough for a customer. That drive has led him to win Knot 10 salesperson of the year for 2010 and 2011, and he is working hard as usual to defend his title in 2012.

Away from the office Vic loves spending time in his hometown of Denton with his wife Joann and is very proud of his sons Jake and Luke.

Knot 10 is fortunate to have a broker in Virginia Beach with the industry experience that Steve brings. Prior to coming to the East Coast, Steve’s owned and operated his own marina and boat dealership for over 20 years. Working hands on in every facet of the pleasure marine industry with his experience he understands both the buyer’s as well as the seller’s perspective. As we grow in this market Steve will play a key role in ensuring Knot 10 stays true to its principles.

Residing in Virginia Beach with his wife Paige, Steve stays active and enjoys coaching and spending time with his young son.

New England Office
Rich not only has a strong sales background but possesses knowledge of boat design, particularly down east style yachts which is a great benefit throughout the northern market. Prior to joining Knot 10, Rich was a partner in Chauncey Creek Boats. He headed up sales and marketing of the custom yachts and travelled from the north shore of Boston to Cape Cod, MV, Nantucket, Newport and Montauk. Rich is simply the perfect fit for Knot 10 in New England and his business, sales and boating experience will all guarantee successful growth.

Rich is an active boater and in his free time can be spotted cruising the northern waterways with his family.

C-WEED

Security, Kent Island
C-WeedC-Weed can be seen protecting the Kent Island office on a daily basis. Quick to point out he is the smartest and best looking staff member, C-Weed is 3 years old and can often be seen dodging flying objects when he squawks during phone calls. A double yellow headed Amazon, C-Weed has a weakness for Ledo’s pizza and only talks when everyone walks out and he’s left to entertain himself. He does speak and is being trained to say “close the deal” and “get the check first” but has yet to comply. C-Weed feels his best years are ahead of him and looks forward to Knot 10 providing him a home for many years to come.
